Bala Vikasa, a leading non-profit involved in providing safe water to over 3 Million people across the country through over 1500 CWPPs, facilitated the formation of Jala Vikasa Foundation (JVF), a social enterprise, to ensure the sustainability of these CWPPs by providing quality spare parts, prompt service repairs and effective capacity building to the technical operators. Since its formation in 2018, JVF, a Section 8 Company, has been servicing over 1500 CWPPs to the satisfaction of all stakeholders.

Many development stakeholders involved in setting up of Community Water Purification Plants across the country are facing difficulties in procuring suitable solutions, appropriate technologies, quality products and prompt service at reasonable price points. In order to address this gap, Jala Vikasa Foundation (JVF) is now offering water purification solutions, responsive to the community’s needs and requirements, to CSRs, NGOs and philanthropists under the brand name of Sujal.
